The 2008 Olympics are Over but Memories Still Linger with AT&T

If you are an AT&T subscriber you probably still have the memories of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing because you are still playing around with the music and the ringtones you downloaded during that week.

If you are not a subscriber then you really missed something. In a similar format as artist have done for such projects as We Are The World, recording artists came together again to support the U.S. Olympic Team athletes as they competed in the Olympic Games.

WiFi with AT&T When You Are Away From Home

If you are traveling and you stay at a Motel 6 hotel, you may be surprised at the fact that you can now get Wifi connection. They have a 3 year contract with AT&T to provide Managed Internet Service (MIS), firewall and routers. Because they are doing this for all Motel 6 hotels, customers can get a low price.

Accor North American (Accor NA), the company that owns Motel 6, talked to customers to find out what they needed, then looked fore away to provide what they were requesting.  

Free Cell Phones for Military Men and Women a Success

If you have a loved one in the military and they have been contacting you by cell phone, then you know that they are doing well. Thanks to the efforts of AT&T and the charity Cell Phones for Soldiers (CPFS), soldiers don't have to pay for this time.

In fact, because they have been so successful -- to the tune of raising $2 Million to help and recycling over 1 Million phones --  that they are going to continue helping the charity by recycling phones in all of their stores.

Don't you just hate moving? I mean, you have to do it sometimes but it seems like such a hassle. You have to coordinate movers, find the best place to move you and hope like heck they are reputable.

Next, you have to pack all your stuff and then make sure that everything gets taken and sent to the right place. And don't forget that you also have to call everyone at the new place so that you will have utilities and phone turned on once you get there.

Whether you are looking for an experience where you can try out all the various features of AT&T phones or not, if you are traveling in Florida, you may want to check out the Experience Store.

The company is pretty excited about this because it is the first store of its type. It is bigger than all other stores to date and it will give people more features than any other store. They have almost 5,400 square feet in the store so that people can browse and experience all that will be available.

AT&T Cracks Down on Prepaid Mobile Phone Thefts

It is difficult for phone companies to keep track of how people misuse their services and it costs them money when a service is abused. This crime however has become something that AT&T is attempting to stop.

People will do anything to make a buck and often this leads them into thinking that they will not get caught for doing something illegal. AT&T has decided they've had enough and they have started lawsuits against those people who are stealing their prepaid mobile phones.

We have had their photographs, their dresses, their costumes, even their chewing gum, and now we have their ringtones. AT&T has recently launched the website ringtonealist.com. This website provides the ringtones used by celebrities all over the world.  The site ringtonealist.com can be somewhat compared to the celebrity yellow pages, which has the address and telephone numbers of all the celebrities that the fans love. 

AT&T Joins Microsoft's Partner Solutions Center to Make Products Better

AT&T has decided to work with Microsoft to be a part of their Partner Solutions Center. This seems to be a good idea so that more people can readily see what they are doing and developing. This seems to be a smart move on AT&T's part because they have more access to specific customers.

The reason they did this was so that Microsoft's customers would have an opportunity to test out many products of the Windows Mobile 6.0 probably before anyone else gets to test them. This will help businesses and individual customers over the long haul.
